On September 8-9, 2026, Ningbo Hotion Cable Co., Ltd. (Hotion Cable) underwent an on-site surveillance audit conducted by experts from BRE Global, a UK certification body for security and fire safety products. The audit formed part of the routine verification of the company's fire alarm cable manufacturing operations under the LPCB certification scheme.

Operated by BRE, the LPCB scheme requires certified manufacturers to undergo on-site factory surveillance audits twice a year, during which LPCB experts verify that batch production continues to comply with the relevant certification standards.

During the two-day audit, LPCB experts reviewed the company's production processes, quality control procedures, and the operation of its ISO 9001 Quality Management System against LPCB requirements. Ongoing certification is maintained through such surveillance: products keep their listing in the LPCB Red Book and on the scheme's official website only while batch production continues to conform to the certification standards.

Hotion Cable will incorporate the audit findings into its quality management programme once they are formally issued, and will continue to meet the LPCB surveillance schedule so that its certified products maintain their listed status.
